Lightest Double Stroller
When looking for a lightweight double-stroller, the folded size and weight are important aspects to take into consideration. Choosing one that's easy to handle and compact when not when not in use makes it much easier to put in the trunk of your car, and to maneuver through airport security and other foreign streets.
The best strollers that are lightweight have a lightweight, easy fold and self-standing mechanism to reduce stress on parent bodies. A few also come with a broad variety of seating options and can accommodate infant car seat carriers.
Kolcraft Cloud Plus
Created for families on moving. Lightweight, with a simple one-hand compact fold. The all-terrain wheels and front suspension and the multi-position reclining seats allow for children to weigh up to 50 pounds. Trays for both children and parents, large storage basket and 3-tier extended canopy with windows that peek out to maximize sun protection.
The Cloud received one of the lowest scores in our quality tests due to its thin feel, hard plastic seats and a design that seems old-fashioned. double infant stroller 's also more expensive than other strollers that are lighter, so it's not the best option when you're looking for an economical alternative.
It's not the most light stroller but it has enough features to make it worth considering. Its swiveling wheels make easy to maneuver it on flat surfaces. It can also jump curbs without much effort. The Cloud's low handle is a problem, however; it's nearly at knee level and isn't adjustable. It's not easy to push it while your legs are hanging like that. And the absence of padding doesn't make it any easier.
During our testing and testing, we found the Cloud to be simple to open and set up. It's a little more difficult to close, however; you must slide a slider before you push a large white button to cause it to collapse. This can be a hassle especially if you're juggling kids while you do it.
The Cloud comes with a small but deep storage basket. It's large enough to accommodate the size of a large diaper bag. It's a bit narrow, though it's likely that you'll need to leave something inside for the back to get it back. The Cloud comes with a parent tray and a child tray, each with two cup holders. However, both are too small for larger cups or bottles.

It folds flat, making it easy to transport and store. It also features independently reclining seats and large all-weather SPF50 sun visors with peekaboo windows and extra-large under-seat storage bags. The visors can be adjusted to accommodate children of various heights. Additionally, it comes with a one step linked parking brake that is Disney-sized approved.

Your child must be at least six months old and have a strong neck control in order to be able to ride in the front seat. The stroller does have three panels of sun canopy, and each seat has its own cupholder and snack tray.
Another incredibly lightweight side-by-side stroller is the Valco Baby Snap Duo Trend. It's heavier than Kolcraft Cloud Plus, at 23 pounds. However, it's narrower and smaller (26.5 inches wide!) and has a ton of luxurious features that make it perfect for travel. It has a super simple fold, is very movable and can be tucked away in trunks and overhead compartments of airplanes easily.
The Joovy Kooper X2 tri-folds and is ultralight, like the Summer Infant 3D Pac CS+ Double or Mountain Buggy Nano Duo. It's similar to the Jeep Destination Ultralight SBS but it has a few distinct distinctions. It's a bit more expensive but has a better sun canopy and better maneuverability. It also has a convenient carry strap that can hold kids up to 44 lbs per seat.
Summer Infant 3D Pac CS+
Summer Infant 3D Pac CS+ is a stroller that is light with a lot of features. It's not just light at 13 pounds, but it has plenty of storage in the form of child and parent cup holders, a sippy-cup for the child pocket as well as a parent storage compartment, and more. It can also be used with a child's car seat and features a brake that can be used flip-flop. It's designed to adapt to your child from a newborn stroller to a toddler stroller simply by attaching the car seat adapters (sold separately) and is suitable for children aged 6 months of age and up.
The stroller is swivel-wheel only and no locking capability, so it may not be the best choice for rocky or steep terrain. It is able to maneuver well on paved sidewalks and other smooth surfaces, so it's still an excellent option for most families.

The seats each have a recline that can be adjusted in multiple positions, separate leg rests, as well as 3-panel canopies that have flip-out sun visors and windows that can be seen from a distance.
The seats are padded for your little one's comfort and have a 5-point padded safety harness that adjusts to three height positions. Each seat has an infant cushion that is ideal for newborns. Parents will appreciate the parent and child cup holders, a cell phone holder, and large storage basket. The stroller can also be purchased with the Yoyo+ Board which transforms it into a tandem.

Joovy Kooper X2
The Kooper X2 double stroller is an excellent option for parents looking for a lightweight double that can hold two kids. The sling-style seats are comfortable and provide a similar amount of headroom, which allows kids to sit side-by-side. Unlike many other side-by-side strollers this one Kooper X2 offers a fully reclined seat, which is a great option for napping. The recline feature is simple to use, but it's not really flat. Taller children may have legs hanging out when in reclined positions. It also has a huge canopy that we found to be more effective at blocking out sunlight than other strollers in our top double strollers review.
The stroller is light enough to move through door frames which was a big issue for us with some other strollers we tested. It is easy to fold and the handlebars sit close to the ground. The only drawback is its limited storage space, which feels uncomfortable when filled with kid stuff.

In our lab tests of double strollers, we evaluate multiple factors to determine how simple the stroller is to use, including the ease of use to set up and fold, adjust the safety harness, close and open the brakes, lift and carry the stroller as if it were to be placed into a trunk of a car and install and remove an infant car seat (if appropriate). We also analyzed the strength and durability of each product, and whether it comes with an adult tray that can hold both children trays.
The Joovy Kooper X2 received the highest score in our Strollers Test Program due to its user-friendliness. It also earned the top score in our updated guide to the top double strollers. Its simple-to-use design features one-hand, no tilt recline, as well as an enormous canopy with ventilation mesh that you can see through even when it is tilted. There are also individual child trays, built-in cupholders and zipper pockets for parents and a large storage basket.
